According to Jon Krawczynski, Ricky is going to miss at least the first preseason game. Should be ready by the end of the week.

Might be time to start looking for a PG who can stay healthy. As much as I like Ricky, I can't sit back and watch another season of this crap. Watching the training camp video, it didn't even look like Ricky had worked on his shot. He still has the same no vertical low arc set shot he had three years ago.

I am not worried yet, but this team seems to be better equipped to handle him being out after watching last night. Zach and Tyus did a good job. Bjelica and Towns help just by having other players that move the ball.

Frustrating for sure, we'll see how things progress through the pre-season.
I'm not sure if we should be happy that it's not his ankle holding him back or pissed that there is yet some other nagging thing that came up. I guess both.

Definitely frustrating. But let's not make this into doom and gloom. Obviously your going to sit the guy in a preseason game if he's nicked up. But in that 1st practice, I saw him running around and looking good. The ankle was the main concern for me. This other stuff is minor.

Jon also tweeted yesterday that coming back from a major injury like this having other muscles being sore or a minor problem is pretty normal. There is nothing to worry about right now.

When a guy sprains an ankle and misses almost an entire season and then has surgery and is still not 100% over 5 months later, there is plenty to worry about. I am really starting to question Ricky's work ethic.

Do you people know that athletes that missed prolonged time due to injury are prone to various muscle injuries upon return to rigorous physical exercises. It's perfectly normal to strain a muscle in your body after it was put on standby for a long time. It happened to many athletes across different sports.
