Apparently Clippers offered Blake Griffin & Lance Stevenson to Denver for Faried, Gallinari, Jokic and Barton.

I think the Clips are overvaluing Blake just a little bit. No way he is worth the Nuggets best four players.

The NBA implemented shorter contracts to encourage more player movement around the NBA. But do they prohibit trades a bit? Just about everywhere you look... teams would be trading for a superstar on a 1- or 2-year contract where they'd have to hope they'd resign.

I can see where that deal works with some alterations... get rid of Jokic for example. But, still... the Nuggets only get Griffin for one season.

I hated the last CBA when it was announced. Nothing I've seen changes my stance on it. In fact, I dislike it even more now.

My apologies if this has been posted someplace, but I read about a suggested trade today. It was a three team involving Houston and Atlanta.

From Atlanta: Horford, Teague, Korver to Houston. Sefolosha to Minny.

From Houston: Dwight to Atlanta. Beverly Mcdaniels and Motiejunas to Minny

From Minny: Rubio to Atlanta

This is not a rumor. It was just a suggested trade on ESPN insider

Well, any time a team can get Sefolosha to shore up the three point shooting, it's gotta take it, right?

In all seriousness... I think the Wolves would have to be really high on Motiejunas, because he might be the only legit potential starter in the bunch. I know four guys is a lot to get back for Rubio though...

So, we trade Rubio for Beverley, McDaniels, Motiejunas and Sefolosha?

That solves nothing for us and actually just throws more bodies on the roster than we need. For me, that's a big NO.

SAC receives: Kevin Martin, Iman Shumpert & Timofy Mozgov

CLE receives: Kosta Koufos, Marco Benelini and future 2nd (from MIN)

Just a made up deal based on CLE's interest in Koufos and rumours of them trying to trade Sumpert and Mozgov.

Koufos and Benelini instead of Mozgov and Shumpert seems like changing things up just to get slightly worse for Cleveland...

Agreed. We give up a core piece for four non-core assets.

I would pass on that deal for Rubio. I don't mind trading him, but that seems like a deal that doesn't benefit us one bit.

I'd rather take a flier on Lawson in the Ricky deal. Lawson, Ariza and Terrance Jones for Ricky and Martin.
