Risers: Chriss, Baldwin, Luwawu, Zizic, Zubac
Best Bargains: McCaw (40th), Bentil (45th) Maker (32nd) LeVert (46)

Comments: I like Chriss but 3rd overall seems a bit too high but hopefully someone grabs him before our pick. Some of the foreigners are getting more attention and Luwawu and Zizic have great upside. McCaw recently was in the 24 range on three different mock drafts and he's one of the favorite sleeper picks among draftniks who many see as a lottery talent--he may be the "steal" of the draft. Bentil has mostly been mocked in the second round though he's creeped into late first round discussion. He's a steal in the second round. Maker is someone you love or hate and I think he's going in the first round, definitely a boom or bust type, but I love his work ethic. LeVert was a potential lottery pick until his injury.

Of the guys that may be available at 5, (Hield, Dunn, Murray, Brown), I like Dunn the least, because Ricky is here. I know how BPA works, but they seem pretty equal, and I think the others help us more than Dunn, who would play behind Ricky.

I can't help looking at Denver's 15 and 19, and Boston's 16 and 23, to see who's there. I don't know if that's a good idea, but it does appear to be a deep draft. Bentil now at 15.

Just for fun, if the draft end's up in this order, and Philly calls offering Nerlens, do we do it?

Murray and Hield would play behind Zach so how is that any different? If anything Zach has been more durable than Ricky making him an even bigger roadblock.

I guess I see Zach as more of a reserve than you

So you think a rookie is going to come in and beat out the incumbent starter who is going into his third year in the league after showing significant signs of improvement for two straight seasons? I get some people think Zach is best as a 6th man, but that doesn't mean he's just gonna get assigned to that role because we draft someone. Someone is going to have to beat him out for his spot and I don't see a rookie doing that.

I think Zach Lavine is better prospect at this stage then anyone not named ingram or simmon in this draft at this point. Nobody drafted will put him on the bench.

So who do you guys like at 5? Are you good with Dunn? I guess I wont be upset unless we draft Dudi Ibi

I think the biggest need is a big who can share minutes with KAT and Dieng, but the only one that might be worth taking at 5 is Bender and if we want to take another big, we should consider a trade down or address it in free agency. If we can't get Bender, I like Hield or Dunn. If we want an offensively advanced player with defensive potential we grab Hield. If we want the opposite-a defensively advanced player who needs work on his outside shooting, we take Dunn. None are bad choices.

Bender, Dunn, Hield in that order. I'd be happy with any of them, but not totally if we for example take Dunn when Bender is on the board or take Hield if either of the other two are on the board.
