Dangle Wiggins and maybe next year's first (mid teens) for the Sixers first this year.
Golden State is the team to reckon with for the foreseeable future. Gotta find a way to match their weaponry.
Draft Ingram and Heild( or whoever u think is the best shooter) and we got our perimeter counterpunch.
Ricky
Buddy/Lavine
Ingram
Towns
Dieng.
Or!!!
Draft Ingram , Trade Ricky for Noel. Draft Dunn.
Dunn
Lavine
Ingram
Towns
Noel
That team has serious length and defensive potential.
Yeah I know .... But would you?

I hope you didn't think too hard about this one.

Wouldn't even think about it. We don't need to give up proven young assets for the unknown. We have to move past the potential phase and move towards the playoff stage

I like Brandon Ingram as a draft prospect way more than I liked Andrew Wiggins as a draft prospect, and I would love to find a way to get Ingram, BUT I have no interest in moving anyone from the Towns/Wiggins/LaVine core, and very little interest in moving Rubio. No chance.

Not going to even consider it. Wiggins is better than ingram. Build around Towns/wiggins and we will be championship contenders in the future.

One thing to remember about Golden State is that Curry was 24 years old and in his 4th season when they made the playoffs for the first time. He's currently 28 years old and putting a lot of mileage on those tires of late. By April of next season - when we're hoping to be in the playoffs for the first time in a decade - he'll be 29. So the window of time that we overlap while Curry is at the top of his game isn't super long.

I would do a straight up trade Wiggins for #1, but I am taking Simmons. I will take the best rebounder and passer in college and figure it out after that.
I like Wiggins a ton, but Simmons is a monster. Only knock on him to me is questionable baggage with family and such.

I dig Simmons more than Ingram. And I think when all is said and done... it's going to be Simmons in Philadelphia. Simmons offers legit elite ability to pass and handle unlike almost any other player his size. That's sure to translate to the next level. His shooting, his family, his drive... those are issues.
But he's NBA ready in other areas already.

Wiggins and a #1 for this years number 1 overall? That's a David Kahn deal.

I'd just like to add that I'm disappointed there are no mentions of Sneetches or Fiffer Feffer Feffs in this thread...
Even a Sylvester McMonkey McBean would have worked for me.
