KAT: "Oh, what's up Coach. How you been?"

Thibs: "I love basketball. I love it a LOT."

KAT: "Haha, yeah, Coach. Me too."

Thibs: "I'm married to the game."

KAT: "For sure. You have any tips I could use to get better?"

Thibs: "Kid has the best rookie season in 20 years and he's already talking about getting better? Look at ya. You're the real deal, huh?"

KAT: "I'm nothing until my team starts winning, Coach."

Thibs: "...I have the stiffest rod in my pants right now. Don't look."

T. Prince was there too. Towns had been mentoring Skal all year so it's cool that he and Prince could come down for the game. Interesting that they were sitting next to Thibs.

Watch Kansas and UCONN, see what a young, dynamic coach looks like.

That's what I am gonna do. I wanted to see the Utah vs Zags game but The consolation prize of staying home and watching UCONN vs Kansas ain't too bad. :)

It feels like there hasn't been as much talk about Ollie as an NBA coach the past few months but we will see.

I'm so not on the "first year NBA head coach" train. We have all this youth. What we need is an established NBA coach that's had success at this level to teach this group how to win. With a rookie head coach, not only is he dealing with youth and development, but he's learning and making mistakes of his own too. I'd rather get a vet in this case.
