Maybe they just aren't very good?

Would anybody be surprised if the Wolves fell behind New Orleans and ended up losing 45 or so games?
11 other Western Conf. teams are simply better than the Wolves, including New Orleans. Consider this: Anthony Morrow is essentially the equivalent to Alexi Shved considering each guy's role on his respective team. Shved shoots 32% overall. Morrow shoots 47% on 3s. New Orleans is 1.5 games behind the Wolves with injuries all over the place. But from top to bottom... they are simply the 11th of 11 teams in the conference better than the Wolves.
At this point, watching this team play, it seem quite possible that things are going to spiral. I mentioned it before, a team hits a breaking point when the same things happen repeatedly and the reward never happens. Someday, a Wolves team without Kevin Garnett will win at least half its games. It's not going to be this season. It's not going to be next season (what's going to happen to improve the team by then?).
Maybe sometime in the 5th rebuild (2015 - 2020) we'll get to see a team play .500 ball for more than half a season. Maybe.
