Sorry to break the bad news.

But the USA team has been drawn in to the same pool as powerhouse New Zealand at the upcoming Basketball World Cup. USA and NZ join the Dominican Republic, Turkey, Finland and Ukraine in Pool C.

You guys will be having nightmares from the 2002 World Cup when the USA finished 6th and little old NZ finished 4th.

No Dicau or Freeland.

But we have Kiwi Dwight (Steven Adams), The Lebron Stopper (Thomas Abercrombie) and Kirk 'Lights Out' Penny.

Oh and Abe, the correct term is football these days, not soccer.

This could get ugly.

The Dominican team though could be a nice surprise.
