I know. I read it after I posted it. It was like a high school paper story.

The real funny thing is they made an analysis of this article an "insider" article on espn. What a joke.

I think we will see more and more of these articles. ESPN doesn't have any significant writers so they pretty much try and post any article they can to justify people paying for the Insider.
Funny part to me was when Adelman says they gutted the team when he came. Having your core in place doesn't really sound like gutting to me. I also thought it was odd that he talked about building through the draft.

Adelman loves having players to sit I guess. I have been finding his quotes really confusing lately, particularly about the patience he wants to show for Shved.

Wouldn't it technically help keeping Love here if Adelman retired and Love got to pick his next coach? I would just think that is one more positive to staying in MN on top of being able to make the most money here.

I haven't been too concerned about Love leaving until I read this. Kerry Eggers is one of the best prognosticators in the league, and is seldom wrong. Take a look at his pre-season predictions to get a feel for his uncanny accuracy.

Yeah, this article is just pure speculation, although I think it's probably pretty spot on with Adelman. It's tough to see him coming back next season.
Love is more of a wildcard. I'm not buying into the narrative the media types outside of Minnesota like to spin, but on the other hand, if you look at the facts and what Love has said in the past, spinning his wheels for another 5 years is probably not an option in his mind. He considers his peer group to be his Olympic buddies, like Durant. He needs to be convinced that this core group, plus a key addition or two, can make a deep playoff run.
