Steal One -- MIN/POR

Plain and simple: the Wolves aren't supposed to win tonight. After a hard fought win last night against the Warriors, I think we'd all take a split in these two games previous to last night. That's the main reason I won't be upset if we come out flat tonight. I understand. They just grinded out a dub on the road against a good opponent. To expect otherwise would be silly.
With that said, it would be incredible if our guys stole this one. I don't care how we do it either. Whether Portland plays like shit or we get one of those "Good JJ" nights where he can win one by himself. Doesn't matter to me. We're 2 1/2 games out of the 8th seed right now and on a three game win streak. Extending this streak would do so much for this team's mindset and confidence. Also, we'd be 2-0 against the Blazers this year. Just a fun stat to stuff in Aldridge fans faces when they try to say he's better than Love.

Good lead in, cam...exactly my sentiments. All sorts of reasons we aren't supposed to win tonight, but man would it be nice.
Early reports are yes Love, but no Rubio. If true, we really need the good JJ because we're going to get 35 minutes of him. At least Shveddy should get a few minutes at PG...oh fuck, I forgot about the Price is Wrong.
Even if we don't win tonight, there are still things to look for in this improving team. Will Martin continue to be assertive on offense? Will Lexy continue his recent improvement. Can Bud regain his shot? A yes on all three of these makes us a much better team.

I was thinking about asking this, but if Rubio isn't good to go, why not give Alexey the start? Keep Barea in whatever role he has right now and try to keep the flow of the starters going with a similar passer like Shved. Think that's what Adelman would do?

Makes a lot of sense to me, cam, but I'm guessing he starts JJ and backs him up with Price. That way he can continue to use Shved how he prefers, as a SG.

Yeah, if Rubio is out I start Shved, he's Rubio-Light to JJ's Mini-Jordan wanna be!

Rick Adelman said Love (knee, ankle) Rubio (ankle) and Barea (back) all expected to play tonight.
