C. Butler & G. Neal

for

Budinger, Cunningham, Barea

Would we have to add a pair of 2nd round picks?

I'd give Budinger more time to work himself into shape. He hasn't looked good so far but early last year he looked very good. He's still working his way back so mows a bad time to trade him.

Butler has always been a better player than Budinger.

Butler is on 1yr deal, Neal cheap contract. Budinger and Barea eating cap if MIL would accept this is perfect for MN. I was more thinking would MIL actually do a trade like this or would they need more?

I can't imagine Flip trying to sell this to Milwaukee. "I know you're the worst team in the league, interested only in developing your young guys and clearing cap space, but how bout you take on some of our overpaid players on long contracts? Barea would fit in great with your other 3 PGs, and Budinger looks like an old man since coming back from injuring his knee twice in less than a year! How bout it?"

Any chance Milwaukee gets to reduce Henson's minutes even more... they have to do it right?

Butler will be 34 years old before this season ends. He has an unimpressive career 34% three-point record and has averaged less than 11 points per game the past three seasons. He's certainly not going to take us to another level the rest of this season.

Why would we want to hold on to Budinger...sorry to say but he is one more knee injury away from possibly not playing again. He seems to be losing steam, losing his agility and losing his confidence. All understandable with his luck, but not worth hoping he stays healthy in my opnion. Butler is the same way

I just hate Budinger's contract and he looks like he's a shell of when he first came to MN, so Butler seems more useful now and provides cap relief. Barea probably has his role on some teams like he did in Dallas, but I don't like what he does to the offense here. Neal has a nice stroke and cheap contract so if adding some 2nd picks got it done I'd do it.
