Trade with Cavs

Kevin Martin for Karasev and Dion Waiters.
Gives the Cavs good SG to pair with Kyrie and Deng to win now.
Gives us a combo guard and SG. We could then figure out a team to trade Barrea too later.
Starters:
Rubio/Waiters/Shved/Barea
Budinger/Waiters/Karasev
Brewer/Shabazz/Hummel
Love/Cunningham/Monte
Pekovic/Turiaf/Deing

I texted something like this to one of my buddies right after the Kevin Martin fumble against the Clips. Think Waiters would be pretty nice on this team. Plus he can get to the rim and finish. Not to mention he's young 20s. Cavs get back a vet SG to pair with Kyrie and Luol. Could see it happing, honestly. I don't know if it will, though, just because of Waiters potential.

I'd rather get C.J. Miles back in the trade too.

Cavs would never deal Waiters for Martin. What makes you think they'd also give us Karasev??

Cam, I thought about CJ and would take him in a heartbeat if they would give him up.
Lloyd, I don't think Karasev has a ton of value. 19th pick in bad draft and not able to get any minutes. On the other hand maybe they would want Shved. Could be a help for both of them to be together.

why would the CAVS do this? Martin is an aging one way player

Dan Gilbert's trying to get that Cleveland team back in the playoffs. Martin's the best player in this deal, don't overlook that. He'd also be a really good fit with Kyrie and Luol. Cavs have had interest in Martin in the past. Don't see why that interest would be diminished by how he's played this year as a whole.

This is laughable!
The only way this trade happens is if the NBA relocates to fantasy island!
I would trade Martin straight up for Jack. Don't know why Cleveland would sweeten the pot beyond that. You might as well ask for Kyrie.

Really? Have you seen Waiters this year or last year for that matter? Is he better than Martin right now? No. He can create off the dribble and is younger with good potential. To think he's a better player than K-Mart is laughable for that matter.
I'd trade Barea for Jack straight up. If you dealt Martin for him you'd be a terrible GM.
