Trade Barea for him. I know what some are thinking...JJ is the only thing resembling a scorer off the bench but as Lip points out, time and again, when JJ is running the team, the offense goes to shit. If he is not hitting shots, and this year it feels like he hardly is, the second unit is worthless. Even though Miller isn't known as a scorer, he is a savvy point guard that scores when he needs to. I think he would help get the second unit going by simply not killing flow. I believe he could maximize the output of the second unit and give the starters some breathing room to work with when they get off the bench. It sounds like Denver is eager to trade him and I hope Flip is ready to answer the call. This would be a much needed shot in the arm for the team. Cmon Flip, time to be opportunistic.

a miller/barea tandem could be lethal on that 2nd unit. miller/barea= kidd/barea

but miller wants to be a starter.

I'm on record wanting Andre Miller on this team.

A savvy vet who knows how to play. I think we'd be pleasantly surprised how competent other players would look on the court next to him.

I would love to get Miller.

But, Denver already has Nate Robinson. A better, higher ceiling version of Barea.

Would love to see that trade bleed. Unfortunately it seems as if other teams have interest in Miller and as Abe points out, they already have a similar guy in Robinson. I like Dunleavy, and his three pt shooting could definitely boost the bench.

I don't see Chicago dealing Dunleavy for just DC. Probably if we threw in Shabazz and a 2nd, and that's something I'd honestly think about doing to ensure our bench play. Dunleavy's pretty damn solid.

Also, that's not really a three team trade is it? Lol seems like two separate trades from the Wolves where DEN and CHI aren't really incorporated together.

Still want Gary Neal. Not exactly sure how to get him though without giving up Bud (I know MIL had interest in him, not that we'd give him up).

I've always liked Dunleavy, but he's due $3.3 million next year and he's not the most athletic guy. He's ok as far as team defense, but who out of JJ, Bud, and Dunleavy are going to lock their guy down? I guess you could roll Luc to the SG/SF and then slide Bud and Dunleavy down, but I'm not confident in that unit's defense.

I also think that if Flip makes any trades he needs to get back either a long-term piece or someone who is expiring. Ideally we send Shved and JJ out for one guy making $6-7 million and expiring. That's tough to find and the player we get back would need to be able to run the 1/2 on the second unit.
