Rank the West PFs

There's a discussion of this topic on the RubeChat board that frankly leaves me astonished. I thought I'd bring it up with the great basketball minds here to see if I'm missing something.

The consensus on that board is that the top three are Davis, Love and Aldrich...in that order. Although I recognize that Davis is an impressive PF with a great future, I don't understand how he can be ranked ahead of Love. His offensive and rebounding stats are far short of Kevin's. Love averages 6 more points per game, 3 1/2 more rebounds and 2 1/2 more assists! Yes, I understand that Davis is the superior defender and shot blocker, but that is not enough to compensate for the enormous advantage Love has in offense and rebounding.

Am I wrong here? Remember, this is a comparison of PFs right now...don't take into account potential.

In my eyes, it's in this order: Love, Aldridge and Griffin.

I love Davis' potential, and he could end up being the best, but I'd take the above three over him right now.

I think Love is great and make him 1a to Aldrich. With Davis a little below and Griffen a little below that. I think Aldrich gives his team a bit more of the conventional 4, causing other teams to double down low, and has the edge on Love defensively. Both are great players in their own rights. Love is really difficult to gauge for his impact on a teams wins because he is so unique.

The difficult aspect of ranking PFs right now is that there is no clear cut, obvious choice besides Love.. If we are talking about which PFs are playing the best right now, then I'd say Love, Aldridge, Blake, Lee.

I have a hard time even putting Davis in it because he has missed 1/3 of the season so far. In my book Love was not one of the top 5 PFs last year because it seems like most of him missed the whole year last year.

Davis has the potential to be better than all of them.....I think that we have been saying the same about Aldridge for the past number of years too. If you can't stay healthy enough to stay on the court, then you aren't very good.
