Never in the history of minnesota sports teams have i seen a more pathetic bunch of pansies. Let Love walk after this year or trade him for an abundance of picks cause I can almost guarantee without Love on this team we go 0-82. The Blazers are just playing with emotion and we look like were trying to find the closest flower patch to go play ring around the rosies.

Lets start with Rubio, the guy cant shoot. As much as I love him, he is terrible. Gambles on defense and gets some steals here and there but mostly lets his guy get right to the basket, where we have absolutely no rim protectors. (exception of the injured Turiaf)

Kevin "Glass Joe" Martin is a gutless turd. This guy was a terrible signing. Defense, he doesnt know what that is. Most of the game you dont see him, and most of the time you will see him sitting behind the bench. No heart, soft, playing to get some numbers, as in points since that is entirely all he can do.


Corey "Out of Control" Brewer who thinks hes a jumpshooter yet I can find ten guys at the local recreation center that have better jumpshots than this turd. Yeah, he gives effort, so would I if I made as much as him. A backup at best. If he shoots another three I may be sick.

Nikola Pekovic is a great offensive player. But when you have not a single guard or forward that can keep there player in front of them you need a presence, which Pek is not. Sure he can push his guy around, but between him and Love watching every guy coast to the basket and hope they miss a wide open layup this is a joke.Is it possible for Love or Pekovic to exert any effort on defense at all?

Chase Budinger a weaker scoring version of Martin. Can you spell defense? Only if its spelled MATADOR. Its nice when he can make a shot but yet another guy who cant defend. Seeing a bit of a pattern here.

Dieng looks like he just got out of high school and should still be in college. Guy can block a hell of a shot but cant do absolutely anything else.

Barea refuses to pass the ball. Cant defend cause hes five feet tall. Love and him look like they refuse to pass to one another.

Muhammad isnt ready. His offensive game isnt what its all cracked up to be, and his defense still has a long ways to go.

Dante "Im almost 7 feet yet refuse to step inside the free throw line" Cunningham drives me crazy. Your athletic and gifted. For crying out loud use it. Get inside and get a rebound every now and then.

Mbah a Moute should be out of the league. Glad he can defend a guy cause he is the worst collection of offensive talent this side of some fourth graders down at the elementary school down the road.

Turiaf- An actual player that could be helpful. A defensive minded center who can score. Who can play offense. Unfortunately been injured almost all year.


I could take Love and Turiaf, and pick up 13 guys off the D league that would be better than this set of crap. The defense and effort on defense this team shows makes me sick. Love is gone.Its an absolute travesty. I can be ok with his defense not being quite up to par as he is amazingly talented on offense. To lose a guy like this and not even be able to put ONE SINGLE Competent team around him is a slap in the face to this fan base. Flip needs to be fired. We need to start getting these guys out of here and putting guys that can play some offense and some defense. Every guy we have almost does one of the two . This team is an embarrassment. The sad reality is that we will not make the playoffs this year, next year and most likely will start a new rebuilding period after that. And with how great this one has been, we may end up in the playoffs in twenty years. So absolutely pissed off right now.

Wow, nice rant. While I feel your frustration, for the sake of balance, I will offer an anti-rant. Here are a few things I love about this squad:

1) It's the best team we've had in nearly a decade.
2) They can be very fun to watch. The outlet passes, the basket cuts, the regular blowouts - this can be a damn entertaining team to watch.
3) We have the pleasure of watching Kevin Love at the absolute peak of his game.
4) Ricky Rubio in the pick and roll or open court. Pure genius.
5) Jim Petersen. He's one of the best local color guys in the business.
6) Gorgui Dieng. Watch this guy. He has the potential to be one of the most disruptive defensive forces in the NBA in the future. Superb length, agile feet, quick hands, and extremely coachable. He could eventually put up Ben Wallace type numbers.
7) The fan sites. This one, the old ESPN board, Canis Hoopus, WoW....The die-hard fans tend to be intelligent, well mannered (for the most part), and insightful.

This team has its flaws, no question about it. But I've had fun watching them this season.
