Three games in four nights - Take Four

Well, the 0-3 majority were correct last time. But I don't think anyone expected the type of blowouts we witnessed. And so now we have our last set of 3 games in 4 nights. This time with no Rubio, no Pek, no Turiaf (at least tonight) and no Young.

The only bright side is the kiddies will get some serious run for 3 home games and then have 3 days off to work on shoring up their weaknesses. We then start an average NBA schedule, hopefully with a few of our vets back in action and a prognosis on Ricky. So, how do we fare in this last set of games?

vs New York
vs San Antonio
vs Sacramento

I'll go with 1-2. They are down 3 starters, but they are playing at home. They should be able to pull one out of the three IMO.

I'm Mr OpTIMistic, but I went with 0-3. :(

I just hope this stretch of games hastens the kiddies' development so when Ricky and others come back we start playing at a much more satisfying level!

I'll say 0-3 too. This team is less defensive than the Iraqi Army.

I went 1-2 with a win over the Knicks. They just recently lost 7 straight games, and they're without Calderon. They're struggling to break free from ISO/chucker mentality and transition to a triangle offense. We need to take this game.

Also, New York shoots a lot of threes. Hopefully this allows Minnesota to get out and run. We need to dominate fast break points at some point.

Okay, boys, I'm undefeated in the first three Tim polls (ouch, I think I pulled a muscle patting myself on the back...very Pek-like!), anybody else have bragging rights? But this series is more challenging. Individually, I don't see the Wolves winning any of the games, but I'm still going to go with 1-2, with a surprise win over either the Knicks or the Kings. I actually think the Kings game will be our win. Sac-town has cooled off after a hot start, the Wolves are going to be desperate for a win after 7 straight losses, and getting the well-liked and hard-working Thad Young back should give them a lift.

I can't believe I am predicting we will win one game out of the three with our tallest players other than Gorgui being Brewer and Hummel! But I'm going 1-2 nonetheless.

I went 0-3 even though I think we are capable of beating NY. Unfortunately, I also see us in foul trouble after several questionable calls in Melo's favor tonight. They can't have NY fall out of PO contention just yet!

Unfortunately, LST, I don't think Young will be playing against Sacramento. That game is on Saturday, not Sunday. And with the funeral on Friday, I believe Flip has already said Young won't be playing in the next 3 games. :-(

Ouch, you're right...don't know why I was thinking sunday. I guess because the funeral is Friday. Makes my 1-2 prediction that much shakier.

0-3, tough to see this team beating anyone without a healthy Rubio/Pek/Young. May be the 6ers, but that's about it.
