Rubio`s injury

I haven`t heard anything about Rubio`s injury lately, nothing.

In my opinion this is too weird that for a week there is no timetable for his return, unless I`ve missed something.

I saw on the other day a photo of his upper uncle, which looks really bad (to me).

It looks like we really missed him on the court the last couple of games.

Is there more information about his condition or any timetable for his return?

Eitan, the day after Ricky went down, they said there was so much swelling that they would need 7-10 days before they could assess the damage and give a timetable. They said then that it didn't appear to be a high ankle sprain, but an MRI after the swelling subsided might prove otherwise. Yesterday on the Funkadelic, Dan Barreiro asked Flip for a Rubio update, but Flip basically sidestepped the question. I'm guessing there will be an MRI early next week which will show a Grade 3 sprain with significant ligament damage, and they will give a 6-8 week timetable. I have my expectations set for an early January return. In any event, we should get some clarity this week.

Still no news on the MRI we were waiting for, but AP guy Jon K gave an update on Barreiro's show this afternoon. At first it sounded really positive...AP Guy said Ricky was "working out three times a day" in an attempt to get back as soon as possible. I envisioned Ricky actually on the court shooting jumpers! But then he said he was at practice today on crutches. I guess the "three times a day" refers to how many physical therapy sessions he is undertaking (as opposed to the recommended two). So, kind of good news, but still a lot of uncertainty. I'm keeping my expectations low, and looking at a January return.
