Worth another look:

The play where he drives baseline and hangs in the air over Lopez is simply amazing. And his jumper looks picture perfect. And what would have happened if Jack hadn't fouled him on that dunk attempt? Sportscenter #1 on top 10?
Granted he's still going to have many terrible games. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see him do very little against Orlando. But the video don't lie, this guy has advanced skills for a 19 year old, and athletically he is not human.
I don't even think I hate Kevin Love anymore. If he doesn't force his way out we don't have this kid. I would not trade Wiggins straight up for Kevin Love right now--would not even consider it.

I feel the same way 100%. Lebron and Wiggins would have been pretty fun to watch for Cleveland fans.

Thanks misty. I got misty eyed watching that play against Lopez. That was some sick hang time. But after all, we are wolves fans. So I try and curb my enthusiasm for now.

Here's a little video clip of Abbott and Thorpe talking about Wiggins. They seemed to be big fans already.

That is pretty cool SJM. It's interesting how confident Thorpe is in Wiggins improving his handles and "shake".

Awesome SJM. I see the same things Thorpe does. I just don't see how is going to be stopped once the game slows down a little bit for him. His raw ability is overwhelming. It's a gift. If he brings the work ethic and character that they seem to think he has, I'm not even sure how good he can be.

One thing you can see in these Wiggins highlights that I think is significant is his ability to rotate in the air towards the basket to face up to finish. This was something that ESPN sports science pointed out and I really saw it in the Nets highlights and you see it in that Truehoop video in a couple other plays. Its big for maybe any player but with his length and athletic ability thats gonna really be huge allowing him to take advantage of his physical gifts around the rim.

Thanks for posting the interview, SJM. I'll echo Monster's point about Wiggins' ability to rotate in the air. That ability is one piece of a broader talent Wiggins has to control his body and the ball while in the air. He's not just good in that respect, he's tremendous. A lot a the top athletes who enter the NBA have to develop that skill and the good ones do, but rarely to the level of control Wiggins already has.
