Preseason is finally over, now it's time to get to the good stuff. Go on the record and make your predictions here:

(just to clarify, the idea of this thread is for each poster to answer all 17 questions, and then add in any additional predictions/thoughts)

1) Record: 49-33

2) Seed: 6th

3) Playoff result (if applicable): Lose 4-3 in a hard fought series against San Antonio

4) Will Ricky win the steals title: Yes (and I don't think it will be close)

5) Will Ricky lead the league in assists?: No (but he will be top 5, more likely top 3)

6) Who starts at the 3 opening night? Brewer

6A) Who starts at the 3 by mid-season? Brewer

7) Most disappointing player? Shved (hope I'm wrong)

8) X-factor? Gorgui (would be huge if he's the first big off the bench by mid-season...and not due to injury--knock on wood)

9) Will D-Will be traded by the deadline? Yes (I hope I'm wrong though because that means he found a role)

10) Surprise team in the East? Cleveland

11) Surprise team in the West? Honestly, the Wolves. Everyone is picking them as a fringe playoff team at best, but I think they are going to be a much bigger factor than that

12) Rookie of the year? Oladipo

13) Most improved player? Anthony Davis

14) MVP of the league? D-Rose

15) West champs: Clippers

16) East champs: Bulls

17) NBA champs: Bulls (I just think D-Rose looks amazing so far, and he's got a solid team around him)

(Feel free to add additional predictions/thoughts)

7) What in the world would Shved have to do to be even more disappointing than last year? I'm thinking he'd have to gain 40 pounds, spit on a few babies, join the KKK, and rob an orphanage. Not necessarily in that order.

1) 47-35
2) 7th
3) Lose to Warriors in 5
4) Yes
5) No, he will be top five but his scoring output will go up
6) Brewer
6A) Shabazz
7) Pek (reason I say this is, already has a minor/nagging injury, and the little I saw of the preseason the wolves did not give the ball to him early, and he seems so far to be just happy with a nice new contract, still Love Pek though)
8) Shabazz or Dwill (one of them has to give solid minutes for the wolves to advance past the first round, Brewer and Bud are bench/role players)
9) No (don't think we will get good enough value back to trade him also he has been the most healthy these last two years)
10) Bobcats, I actually think they could compete for the 8th seed, because the East is so bad
11) Pelicans, have them as the 8th seed this year
12) Oladipo
13) Bradley Beal
14) Lebron
15) Warriors
16) Heat
17) Heat in 6, I hate the Heat but they are just to good, I could see the Pacers winning the east but I just think LBJ even though I strongly dislike him will win their third straight

1) 50-32
2) 6th Seed
3) 2nd round defeat
4) Yes. I'll say 2.5-ish
5) Nah, but top-5 is a lock.
6) Corey Brewer
6A) Acquired veteran TBD
7) Nikola Pekovic. Numbers are bound to go down with Love being back.
8) Ricky Rubio. We go as far as he can take us. No disrespect to Love.
9) Yes. See "Acquired veteran TBD".
10) Wizards, though it might not be too much of a surprise.
11) T-Wolves. People are reluctant to give Sota any credit.
12) My boy Dipo. Guy's a stud and three-quarters.
13) Ricky Rubio. Stats are sure to go up. Finishing at the rim better and improved three-point shot. All-Star spot.
14) LeBron James. Best player in the world by far. He's as good a bet as any.
15) TBD. Too early to even pick, honestly. Think it's wide open.
16) TBD. One of Miami, Chi-Town, Indy. Coin flip.
17) TBD.

-Kevin Love will finish top-5 in MVP.
-Kevin Love will lead the NBA in rebounds (14 RPG), double doubles and 20-20 games.
-Kevin Martin will finish with 40+% in 3-pt shooting. 180+ 3-pt made.
-Both Ricky Rubio and J.J. Barea will have a triple-double (not in the same game).
-Turiaf averages 1.5 BPG or more.

43 wins, 9th seed, won't make the PO's, Brewer will start at the 3, DW will be traded, and Pek will be the biggest disappointment.

15) West champs: Clippers

16) East champs: Heat
