Zgoda tweeted the potential starters - Rubio, Shabazz, Chase, Thad, Pek.

Mo, Turiaf, KMart, Brewer, and Wiggins all out

Odd that Ronny is sitting after not seeing the floor last night. I'm sure Flip is going to continue to be protective of Pek, so I'm looking for about 30 minutes of Gorgui tonight...let's see if he can show a little more polish in his offensive game.

Shabazz was also ineffective on offense, so it's great to see Flip put him in the starting lineup. I think Flip really wants him to succeed...I wouldn't be surprised if he runs a few plays for him early to get him going. Hopefully he (and Bennett) are feeling healthy enough to log some BTB minutes.

I'm looking for Thad/AB to hold their own on the boards again like they did last night. No Mo means more JJ. Some of me wants him to shit in his mess kit to make it easier for Flip to exclude him from the rotation, but I'm such a homer, I'll be cheering for him when he hits the floor.

Good defensive effort the past two games...let's keep it going tonight!

I'm thinking LaVine is going to get a good amount of minutes tonight with JJ playing off ball. Also I hope GR3 gets a healthy amount of playing time and shines.

1st Quarter observations:

* Rubio still doesn't look like a guy who wants to ever take shots. I'm not sure that will ever change. He does so many other things well though.

* Pek rebounds per game are going to go up with Love gone

* Budinger (like others have already noted) looks like a much different player than we've seen. He has value.

Shabazz with a great block followed by an ASSIST at the other end instead of forcing up his lay up...can the Apocalypse be far behind?

Others have talked about Zach's defense, and he is really showing me something tonight against Mayo

It will be interesting to see what the final roster looks like and how he fits in (minutes wise). He's got some talent - for sure.

Jim Pete pointing out the attention Shabazz draws on the left block, and then Shabazz surprises everyone by finding Thad out of the triple team for his second assist. Many of us have said it...there's a place for Bazz in this game if he can learn to pass.

We should not trade Chase. I've been concerned about our glut of wings since last season but dammit he can shoot. Barea should be the odd man out.
