I wish I could take my page click back from that arrogant writer. I love how Wiggins is already forcing himself out before playing a game for us. They always extend their rookie deal here and then leave after the second deal and by then I won't care because it'll be possibly 9 years from now. Who the hell knows what'll happen in the next 9 years? Anything could happen. Toronto couldn't even get a second star next to Vinsanity or Bosh and somehow they're more of an ideal destination than the Wolves? The writer fails to forget that most of the best basketball players in the world are from the US and could care less about Toronto, so whose joining Wiggins there in 9 years? I give up on caring about any other team's fan perspectives when they're that far away from reality.

I feel like other than Rose and LeBron, most players do not play for their hometown team until possibly the twilight of their career and even then it is a longshot and the stars have to align. There isn't some rule that guys go home all the time. I guess Josh Smith was another. The odds that Wiggins ends up in Toronto are really small at this point.

Because Wiggins is from Canada I could see there being a stonger pull to go back than some hometown cases and if the writer said something more like hey anything is possible and if you want Wiggins home this might help. maybe its still a long shot but Wiggins could look good coming home. Thats more reasonable. This article goes too far but brings up some good points.

I think some people don't know that the Twin cities is a nice area. Wiggims being from Toronto and if he doesn't mind the cold he may like Minny alot. The Wolves fan base is dying for a star and success. Brit Robison (I THINK IT WAS HIM) just mentioned the other day how passionate the wolves fan base is despite the last 10 years of awfulness they have endured. Wiggins could do something special here and fans will reward him.

I'm not claiming Minny is the best place because its not but its not worthless either which some articles claim it to be and its an easy target since we have been so bad for too long

How did they not report on the rumors of us trading him to the raptors?
