If Love wants out

Then its time to start shopping Pek too. A 29 year old unreliable center has no place on this team as it will be in full on rebuild mode. Find a way to get one of the top 3 picks. Sure theyll suck next year but hopefully theyll be in position for Okafor .

Rubio
Wiggins
Shabazz
Dieng
Okafor.

That would be a nice young solid core group to build around.

Yeah because Ricky's gonna be so ready to sign an extension to deal with this right?

Honestly, who cares? How low has this team fallen if it feels it has to appease its very average Pg?

Pek and Rubio can be great in the pick and roll game with or without Love.

If Love wants out what choice is there? If the Wolves couldnt get to the playoffs with Love they arent going to get anything in return that will make them that much better. Only competitive. Thats not good enough for me.

Yeah , minus the 30 games Pek doesnt play. In order to maximize Rickys potential this team needs to get more athletic. A plodding center and a bunch of jump shooters isnt the ideal fit for Ricky. I believe that will eventually scare him off as much as the losing will.

I think Pek can still work with this team, at least for the time being, if the rest of the team is a better match. I am more open to moving him based off of Dieng's abilities but that also is dependent on the rest of the roster. First things first is to maximize Love's value and then evaluate what is left. I would expect Martin and/or Budinger to be attached to him.

That wasnt a lineup just the list of young guys to build around. I can see how a guy would assume that tho.
