Race for the playoffs

is coming down to a great finish. Memphis plays at Phoenix tonight, and hosts Dallas in the finale. If the home teams win both (and Phoenix takes care of DMC-less Sac-town in their finale) the three teams will finish tied for 7th at 49-33. I don't know who loses out and misses the playoffs if this happens, but it would be a very T-wolf like thing to happen to them. What a great development in the schedule to have these final games involve three teams fighting for two spots!

Dallas must own the tiebreaker against both teams then. Actually, as farfetched as it is, if the Wolves beat GS tonight and GS also lost its finale in Denver, there could be a 4-way tie for 6th, 7th and 8th place. Who knows what would happen then. It would be incredible if Golden State ended up 9th after being so strong most of the year!

I just wish our club was in there...

This probably deserves its own thread but that Houston-Portland series is going to be fun as hell to watch.

Memphis clinch it with tonights win over the suns.

Have to give it up to the suns, They shock everybody with their performance this season.

Now, Lets hope suns dont get lucky in the lottery and somehow jumps into the top 3 and push us to the 14th spot and lose our pick to them!

Stern's gone---but what are the odds that the Lakers win or get's a top 3 pick? They should get the 6th pick if everything falls as percentages goes.....

I'm not at all a fan of the "draft is rigged" conspiracy theory, since the company I worked for for 30 years oversees the entire process, but the answer to your question is 21.5 % that the Lakers end up top 3...so not out of the question, dammit.

That would be hilarious! We may have to talk some fans down from the ledge if that happened.
