NEVER going to happen, but....
Wolves jump to number three in draft, Parker and Wiggins are gone, who do you take and why?

It'd be really tough to not take Embiid there, but I'd either draft Randle or trade down.

First thing I do is buy a powerball ticket to see if my luck continues.
Then I get on the phone and talk to every team that needs a center with huge upside to see if I can get them to give me something really good as an incentive to trade down. If no takers, I ponder whether combo guard Dante Exum (a rich man's MCW) will ever learn to shoot better from the outside. But after I decide that I don't need another guy in the backcourt with a flat jumpshot...
I take Julius Randle. He can take Dante's significant minutes and be a good insurance policy if Love leaves.

Orlando's No. 12 pick and Arron Afflalo for No. 3?
At 12 we take Stauskas.
Look to trade K-Mart, but fine keeping him another year while NK gets his feet wet.
Still try and trade Pekovic for Deng/Hayward.
Rubio/Afflalo/Deng/Love/Dieng.
Yes please to that starting lineup.

I'd rather do Waiters and 9 for 3 and Barea. Then draft Gordon, Vonleh, or McDermott, in that order then roll with
Rubio FA
Waiters Martin
Brewer Bazz
Love Rook
Pek Dieng
How nice it would be to get lucky for once....

Afflalo's far superior to Waiters right now, but if we're going for younger and not as expensive then sure.

If we got lucky and jump to number 3 then we go for embiid if parker or wiggins is off the table. Best player available. We sort out the rest after.

Randle > Embiid
My opinion.

To each his own cam. I just hope that if we are in that position, flip will make the right call and grab the best player available. Dont try to get too cute in trading down or anything, unless its a legit star dont trade the pick if we got lucky.

I was debating that. What if he did trade down and pick up Afflalo plus a lottery pick in this scenario? We're trying to win and keep our current star. We could get a piece for the future while making the current product better.
I guess it would depend on what Flip thought about Dieng as well.
