What about Mark Jackson?

It sounds like he is in bad shape with the Warriors organization, he has had good success with them, On PTI Tony has heard that he will have to make the finales to keep his job (Tony usually dosen't break news so take it as you will) He plays an up and down style that we need to play, and he is a decent defesive coach, could help Rubio a lot. Down side is that he has had problems with his coaching staff. Also I think he would take the job, I think we will be the most attractive job this offseason. I don't think any coach this next year wants the lakers or the knicks job because they are probably going to do bad and that coach might get fired right away.
Just a thought

I don't think they'll get rid of Jackson, nor would I want him for the Wolves. On a positive note, tonight's game against the Warriors will finally wrap up yet another missed playoffs year.

There's obviously a reason Golden State (and his assistants) are down on Jackson.
Personally, I think he's a disingenuous hypocrite and dink. He was as a player. He is as a coach. Hell... he even is as a husband/preacher.

Why would we want a run and gun system? We have 2 big, slow guys at the 4 and 5. Run and gun teams need athletes that we don't have. We're built like Memphis, not Golden State. Ricky isn't the building block; Love is. Ricky needs to get better in the half-court to fit this team. We don't have the personnel to run with teams every night. I would make no sense to bring in a run and gun coach. We need a defensive minded coach who can lock down our team D and our offensive talent should be enough to carry that end.
