What 5 player unit would you like to see play the most moving forward?

I would like to see
PG-Rubio
SG-Brewer
SF-Shabazz
PF:Love
C-Dieng
Martin would be the first guy off the bench and Pek would be second when he is healthy.

I'm still in the shrinking, and perhaps delusional, group that hasn't completely given up on the playoffs, so the 5 I want to see on the court the most the rest of the season are:
Pek
Love
Brewer
Martin
Rubio
This group has proven to be one of the best starting fives in the league, and needs to get as many minutes as possible if they are healthy and we are not eliminated yet. More importantly, I want them to sit Bud for the year, make Shabazz the first wing off the bench, give backup PG minutes to Shved and only play JJ off of Rubio, and give Dieng some backup minutes at C.
The moment we are eliminated from playoff contention, I want to see the same lineup you suggest, but with Martin at SG rather than Corey. And I want to see significant minutes for Shved at PG to assess whether he can play that role next year.

Hmm... Third post, third different opinion...
Rubio
Martin
Luc
Love
Deing
Brewer and Pek (when he comes back) can come off the bench (along with Shabazz and whoever else is deserving of minutes).

Now that there's nothing to play for this year except our pick, it's important to determine what we have on our roster so the front office knows where to focus their offseason. I want to see who can play with Love and Rubio, so I hope Adelman creates his rotations around that theme. The problem is I would like us to at least be competitive too, and a wing combo of Brewer and Muhammad doesn't provide enough ball handling. So even though I would rather see him get minutes at PG, I would suggest Shved at SG. And if they have not given up on the idea of him being a backup point guard, I would give him minutes there too. I know... a lot of minutes for Alexey, but I think he needs some uninterrupted time to see if he can be an NBA player. My starting lineup:
Dieng
Love
Muhammad
Shved
Rubio
We know enough about Corey, Martin, Pek, Dante and JJ, so I would limit their minutes the rest of the year. Although he has been a big disappointment, I would give Hummel some burn too to see if there is a role for him on this team. Watching the team shoot pre-game and at the half, Robbie is usually the best 3-point shooter. He also is technically sound on the court, so I'm not quite ready to cut him loose. Give him 20 minutes a game to give him a chance to earn a roster spot next year. If he doesn't cut it in the remaining games, we can cut him loose.

Shved's got one year left here and he's always been inconsistent. I'm pretty much throwing the towel in on him.
Rubio
Martin
Muhammad
Love
Dieng
This is the framework for what I would like our team in the future to look like, only replacing Martin with Stauskas. If this works, then my framework for the future works. Or you could replace Muhammad with Luol Deng, but that's unpredictable right now.

Love, Ricky, Dieng, Cobrew, Martin. But Shabazz should get big minutes. JJ and Dante should get very few.

Ultimately I fear that you may be right about Shved, but it wasn't too long ago that I saw him play very well in international competition, and I am afraid that he could be another Adelman casualty. You know...not able to
reach his potential because he is worried about the old guy on the bench scowling at him. Since he's under contract for one more year and not worth much on the trade market, let's put him out there for consistent minutes to see if he has any future. I'm so down on Adelman that I'm not willing to write off any young player whose only NBA experience has been playing for Rick. Look at how a new coach in Phoenix has revitalized 5-6 players whom I had written off prematurely.
