For all the knock this guy gets on his size he matched pretty well with one of the best scorers in the game last night. JJ would foul him hard and make him earn every point & lets not forget it was only until BAREA left the game in the final stretch 5 mins when ELLIS went off on MARTIN gave dallas a chance.

I also think adelman might of found something in pairing RUBIO up with BAREA. Their chemistry looks pretty damn good these last 5 or 6 games. TOO BAD he found that out 2 late season is over. & what about that dunk by barea? man does he have hops 4 a midget!!!

Who would have thought this? I mean after the disaster Kidd and Barea were playing together it didn't seem possible.

yeah bleed i gotta agree with you on that one. what also is weird he's never started barea one game his whole 3 years as a coach. the other rick down in dallas started barea alot as a 2 guard in dallas and it worked out well every-time next to kidd.

Fuck Barea and Adelman. Everyone's seen Barea play well off-ball with Rubio/Kidd in past years, but as soon as he's the dominant ball handler he's trash. Adelman's too stubborn and stupid to make that possible and it's the main reason why our bench has been garbage this year.

Also, Barea's not good enough to start at any position. No way should he ever start for the Wolves. And yippee, JJ defended Monta better than Martin did. That's not a big accomplishment.

too bad we traded Luke for nothing then. Playing them together seems great, but Rubio can't play 49 minutes every night

We would have been better off keeping Ridnour and letting Bud walk.

The longer the season goes on, the more I believe that quincy is actually JJ.

It's not the player's fault for being on the wrong roster and being used incorrectly. Barea was successful in Dallas because he was always paired with Terry or Kidd. Put him on the floor with Cunningham, Mbah a Moute, Budinger, and Hummel, you're asking for a disaster. Barea is always going to look like trash with that unit because the rest of the guys are standing around the perimeter waiting for someone to create something.

ehh successful is too strong of word. Not as bad is probably a better term

They won the NBA Championship, it's not too strong of a word. Plus, moving Barea into the starting lineup changed the series, as Dallas won 3 straight to close it out.
