So, a guy with a questionable past uses his kids as pawns to make himself more money, and lies and ruins the kids' credibility in doing so... Now, he's in prison.

Credit to Shabazz for persevering through all that. That guy sounds like a real a-hole

There were lots of rumors swirling around Muhammad's dad when he was at UCLA, and he seemed like the kind of guy that was just too involved in his son's life...and not in a good way, And then the story came out that he had lied about Shabazz' age from the time he was a toddler to give him an edge...bizarre! I have a lot of respect for Shabazz surviving with a flaky dad like that. I'm glad he's now in the joint so Shabazz gets some time without his negative influence.

Best thing for Shabazz at this time. I hope Love and him spend the summer together getting ready for next season. It is my understanding Love wanted us to draft him. Now he can take him under his wing. I think they both have the desire and drive to be great.
