Sorry to hear he suffered cardiac arrest. I hope he is ok and that this is not a life long debilitating condition. I'm not sure how this affects his basketball future as this is pretty rare to happen to NBA players or guys slated for the NBA. I know Lenny Bias died from a heart condition but that was believed to be drug related. I hope with Bronny its not the case.

Reggie Lewis and Hank Gathers are a couple other names of basketball players who died suddenly from a heart condition. LeMarcus Aldridge had arrhythmia, retired, came back, then retired again. Cuttino Mobley retired early due to a heart condition. Chris Bosh's early retirement was due to the formation of blood clots, so maybe not heart related, but definitely circulatory system related. Isaiah Austin was a highly touted player who retired at the NBA draft due to heart concerns connected with Marfan Syndrome. I'm trying to think of any similar cases where a player overcame cardiac arrest and had a successful pro career in any sport, but I can't think of any. Anybody?
