Jon K reports that McDaniels is now 6-11, still growing. Not sure why I find that as interesting as I do, lol

I don't put much credence in these late growth spurt stories of guys in their early 20s, reported during the slow summer NBA news cycle. Ant supposedly had a huge growth spurt too and I am not sure there was ever much truth to that story. I also saw a picture of McDaniels from the Pro-Am next to Holmgren and Banchero and he didn't look all that tall next to these guys. McDaniels was purportedly 6"11 in 2018. See video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmbM5GSM1c0. I've seen him listed at 6"9, 6"10 and 6"11 in the past. Measurements are all over the place (with or without shoes, different shoe stack sizes, rounding up, rounding down, unscientific measuring, etc.). Plus, the timing ahead of extension negotiatons seems fishy. I call BS on this non-story.

I'd be more impressed if Jaden added 10 pounds of muscle. He's still slight and hoping he can fill out to at least Paul George proportions.

Well we were considered long already, but having a front line of 6'-11" or taller is something I don't ever remember seeing. Hope he hasn't lost any lateral mobility. I'm most looking forward to the strides he makes on offense this year.

My mother in Law lives in MN. She heard from one of her former co-workers who is an Aunt to someone who is friends with someone who works at Mayo square and they reported that McDaniels is tall. Do with that information what you will.

I read that Ant grew two inches and was 6"6? See story: https://www.nbcsports.com/nba/news/timb ... ince-draft

Why is Ant still listed at 6"4 then? https://www.nba.com/timberwolves/roster

Damn, lets go sign a guy named Tacko Fall with our open roster spot. I hear he's pretty tall.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw McDaniels pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious. But the person did note that he seemed taller than normal.

If I was 6'11" Im pretty sure I would average 14 rebounds per game. Dude better get above 5 this year even if he is guarding the perimeter.

If McDaniels grows his fro out another inch, he'll be a legit 7 footer. I think he dropped to 6"9 after he sported cornrows.
