Ha! Where the hell is Abe!? You think I'm a bucket of cold water Tim, Abe is camped out in Siberia somewhere!

KG is absolutely right in what he says, but on a positive note, I've never really sensed any resistance or issues with KAT as it relates to Ant's ascendance. It's a potential problem only in theory as far as we know. I'm more concerned about these two as individual players than I am about their chemistry. KAT's long-standing maturity/emotional issues and Ant's ability to get to the line more and keeping the ball moving.

The bigger chemistry issue to me is between Rudy and Ant. Rudy needs to make way for Ant by knowing when to dive to the hoop, and more importantly, when not to, and Ant needs to find Rudy more often when he's clearly open. Both need to give a little.

If you have an hour to kill, here is Finch on with JJ Redick. Nothing earth shattering to report, other than my confidence in Finch remains strong, and my confidence in this season being much better than last season is steadfast.

I killed that hour more than ten days ago. That was posted on the board earlier.

Oops! I missed it while on my New England RV trip.

I can only assume your RV trip was at least as entertaining as the film RV with Robin Williams.

Tim, You are supposed to do that trip in the fall, when the leaves are turning color, not at the end of summer! Sheesh!

Of course, you'd probably miss a lot of Wolves training camp and pre-season action and the excitement that goes along with it (especially if you're an opTIMist) so may be that was a good move. ;)

Thanks for posting this, Tim! Not only is it an exceptional example of 21st century ebonics that archeologists will be studying decades from now, but KG also makes two great points:

1) This is an exciting team that has real chance to be very good. Garnett's enthusiasm for this team just added at least 2 wins to our mean in the wins prediction thread.

2) Any talk that KAT has to "step back" (as Paul Pierce suggests) is misguided. Maybe I am just parsing words, but this can still be Ant's team without KAT stepping back. KAT is a unique offensive player and one of the greatest shooting bigs in the history of the game...when he's open outside the arc, he needs to let it fly for this team to be successful. As KG said, neither he nor Paul Pierce needed to step back, and KAT doesn't have to either. Sure, this is Ant's team, but KAT's occasional 30/15 is going to help us win a lot of games this year.

I agree with both your points. I especially love the reference to ebonics! :). KG is a smart basketball guy and he tends to be honest about things. So I put a lot of stock in his comments and overall positivity about the Wolves.
