Ant got to be an A+. That was an all timer in terms of the very few historical clutch Wolves performances. Good grades all around.

I came really close to doing it.

Kek, why are you even grading Shake and JMAC who had minimal minutes? Shake played two minutes and change and had zero shots and didn't really have an opportunity to do much of anything while others in the rotation chucked shots. I wonder if Shake is still hurting.

They played in meaningful minutes. So they get graded. I do think that Shake will be fine as the season gets going. Thought Jmac was solid in his minutes. Hope his knee is ok

Two minutes and 41 is meaningful? Go to your other game threads and you didn't review players who got more minutes than Shake tonight. I think you are being disingenuous.

You really love Shake don’t you. I grade people who played in non garbage time minutes. I graded Troy Brown when he played against the raptors. My grades are just for general post game discussion. You’ve been a good poster KG, it’s all good, it’s not like my grades change how the wolves see things

I like all the Wolves with the possible exception of Wendell Moore (who I'm kind of lukewarm on), but you seem to have it in for Shake with subtle digs and I see this as taking a dig at Shake when he didn't even take a shot and to say he got meaningful minutes tonight doesn't fly. I think you love JMac and were unhappy the Wolves signed Shake to take JMAC's minutes. Shake is getting less minutes here than he did the past four years in Philly and he produced pretty well when given big minutes. At $5 million a year, he is an absolute steal and I hope the Wolves utilize him as I think he can be a good player for when Mike Conley sits.

Huh, I think you are thinking of someone else. I’ve been one of the more vocal anti Jmac guys in the past. I think Jmac has played above average for a 30 game stretch 2 years ago because his shot was falling

Once again, I generally agree with your grades with some slight variations.

I’d give Ant an A+. You really can’t do better than Ant did tonight. I think he scored nearly all of the Wolves first 12 points and then he came up clutch in overtime to take his team across the finish line. And on top of that his defense was outstanding.

I’d give Jaden an A-. Yes, he committed some bad fouls the first half, but what he did in the 2nd half offensively was critical to the Wolves win tonight. And of course, he was also terrific defensively.

I’d give Conley and NAW both a B. They both hit big shots and were terrific defensively. I could even see giving them both a B+

I give Shake and incomplete. He just didn’t play enough and when he played he wasn’t noticeable. ‘
