Not sure if you grade based on how well they play their role, but if you are, then NAW gets an A in my book. Second great game from him off the bench playing defense and contributing an efficient offensive performance.
I'd also move KAT to an A from an A-. Besides the efficient offense and rebounding, he had only one foul and one turnover. Just a really clean game and he was really good defensively.

I was thinking the same thing. KAT should definitely get an A. I was tempted to give him an A+ but I’ll reserve that for another level of play. Ant’s perimeter shooting was off and we saw too much hero ball from him late, but he scored 33 points, got to the line 10 times and made all of them, and did other things as well that showed up in his rebounding and assist stats. I’d give him a B+. And I’d definitely give NAW at least a B+ and maybe an A- based on how well he played his role. I love the way NAW’s been playing. Rudy’s B+ is well deserved in my view because of how well he played HIS role. He didn’t try to do too much offensively. Instead, he was a defensive monster with 5 blocks.
I like the way our guys are starting to settle into roles and getting a better sense of now to play well together. It’s still a work in progress on the offensive end, but I can see it starting to come together. It’s still a bit of a square peg in a round hole with Rudy, KAT and Ant, but they’re all trying and seem to be figuring things out. Credit all three guys and their teammates for their effort and selfless approach.

Nix was an A+. He didn't miss a shot or turnover the ball and played perfect defense.

I originally had Kat as an A but I docked him a little bit because he stopped being aggressive on offensive in the 4th (his defense was great though). I’m fine with giving him an A.
For your question Q. I’m cool raising Naw also, there was moments I thought his defense was a little lackluster but it’s just my quick gut instincts after the game.
Don’t have any real objections with either of your thoughts

I continue to enjoy these grades. Just one suggestion for Kek...it seems like using the pluses and minuses to grades is allowing people to quibble a bit. Maybe just forget about trying to grade so fine and stick with five buckets:
A = Excellent
B = Good
C = Average
D = Below Average
F = Shitty
Just a suggestion - this is your baby and continue to do as you see fit. I like reading it either way.

But the quibbling is the fun part! And it's no offense to Kek as he's just shooting from the hip immediately after the game. The goal is to promote some discussion or debate around individual performances, which I like.

I agree. Rudy is a blessing and a curse on offense. His rim rolls do open up corner 3s and he sets great screens. On the other hand, we have a lot of empty possessions because we try to force feed him the ball in traffic. It almost never works. Either he can't handle the pass or he catches it, but misses a bunny around the hoop. If he's not wide open, then he just needs to clear out of there, but old habits die hard....
