We talk about Shake needing to be a guy who can steal game when people sit.
Shake needs to be efficient and put 15-20 pts up tonight

Good move on Conley.
So it seems like now that we have gotten a critical mass of games under our belt and still on top of the West, the team is starting to take a longer view. Conley is absolutely essential to playoff success. We'd be lucky to win one playoff series without him, so his health needs to be preserved.

Really good teams like Boston are respected so much that teams are more likely to rest their players. It's nice that our Wolves have moved into that category too, as we have seen a lot of teams look at their game at Target Center as a loss and a good time to rest players. I'd like to see Finchie rest both Conley and Rudy tonight...heck Old Man Mike hasn't missed a game since we traded for him, and Old Man Rudy has played 106 out of 118!
And yeah, let's see what Shake can do tonight, and also what JMac can do with more PG minutes...assuming he gets the start at PG. If Finchie decides to start NAW at PG, I'm getting out the tar and feathers.

"This is one of those "scheduled losses." It's not usually the Wolves style, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a late scratch from one of the starters for this one." Me a few hours ago...
Ok. So it wasn't super duper late with Conley. But maybe Gobert is the late gameday scratch. Either way, it's not a great prediction by me. It was pretty obvious.

Rudy is not allowed to sit because of rest because of the all star resting rule where fake injury is incoming

Yup. "Hip soreness" it is for Rudy, wink, wink.
NAW and SloMo get the starts.
When is the tar and feathering?!?

I'm mixing the tar right now, but damn, it's giving me right arm soreness! Someone else needs to supply the feathers.

Feels like we can switch everything with this lineup since we have a bunch of hybrid positional players on the floor....and they can do the same thing.

Pretty crazy that even with Conley and Gobert out that wolves starting probably is in top 5 starting lineups of all time in team history
