I think sometimes these type of stories are overblown. But I will say Edwards certainly looks to be in better shape this year vs. last. And remember, Edwards (and the team) got off to a very poor start last year.

I'm assuming having some vets like Rudy and SloMo around certainly can't hurt, but ultimately - hats off to Edwards for making the change. Here's a story that came through my feed:

Rudy is right about diet. It can have a profound impact on performance, especially as one ages. I think that's why we see a lot more longevity in pro sports. It's not just the training and treatment, but the dietary regimen a lot of these guys go on these days.

Ant doesn't seem like the most disciplined and focused of athletes (relative to his elite peers), so it's encouraging to hear that he might be changing his diet.

Regardless of what happens in the playoffs, I think the front office envisions a "second window" with Ant whereby the first window we're in now prepares him to be THE GUY on a perennial playoff team and hopefully contender. That might be with an entirely different roster than we have now, but playing with the likes of Gobert and Conley should help prepare him to lead a team someday.
