Rudy continues to be Mr. consistent and his overall play has been the most impactful overal. Clearly Ant is this teams best player and as he goes so goes the team. Kat has settled in to his role as Robin to Ant as Batman. With that said, neither Kat or Ant have strung together 6-7 games in a row of high level production like Gobert has or atleast not for 4 quarters. Jimmy Butler gets a lot of praise for playoff performances, but for every big game he had he’d follow it with 4-18 shooting performances. Booker as well.

I haven’t watched the game yet. Too late last night. I’ll watch the replay today. Looks from the box score like NAW had a fantastic game. I love that the Wolves only had 11 turnovers compared to the Clippers’ 13. Note that KAT and Edwards each had only 1 turnover. That’s tremendous.

I have to credit KAT. Didn't have his shot going early but he kept at it and the Clippers couldn't find an answer. He played hard on defense and kept his emotions in check. Great game by the Kateraman.

I might give Ant a B+. Sorry, but there needs to be some ding when you go 1-11 from 3 and some of those were really bad shots.
I think the B- for Morris is fair. Hopefully he shakes all the rust off by March/April. I do like the fact we have another "just knows how to play" vet out there. While he wasn't great, he also did nothing to really hurt the team. Good decisions, took the right shots, tried hard on defense, etc.

Thank you, Q...I didn't want to be the one to downgrade Ant after ripping him in the GDT, especially on a night where he did so many goods things and was a team-leading +18. And even the best shooters have off nights. But as you imply, Ant's 1-11 was not because he had an off night shooting, it was because of poor decision making. The Clippers had no answer for Ant slashing, and that's why he was 7 for 7 with 20 points on drives to the basket! But despite this, he persisted in jacking up ill-advised and often contested 3-pointers. And how many times did an errant Ant 3 lead to an easy basket for the Clippers? A game like last night only goes to prove Ant's enormous upside, once he gets his head screwed on right. But I give him a B last night.

Don't miss this one, Lip. Two consecutive road games against elite teams where we looked like the best team in the Association. We were so good at both ends of the court that we were able to trounce a very good team on a night when Ant and KAT were 2 for 16 on threes! Now we have to keep up the intensity, and take 2 in Portland.

Ant is a tough person to grade because he can be frustrating but he can also be amazing. What happened yesterday between the first to the 2nd half

Whether he's good, bad, or mediocre on a given night, we know he's the guy who gives our franchise a chance to be special. He's just a physical mismatch due to his athleticism. You can't teach it, he just has it. I just hope it gets maximized and channeled properly. I'd have to say so far so good.
