I won’t be at tomorrow night’s game, but I’ll be there for the rest. I won’t let you guys down.Coolbreeze44 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 22, 2024 11:28 pm We need you to be omnipresent during the stretch run.
Lip needs to do that and you should revive the 2+1. This forum is basically dormant these days which is crazy considering the season we are having.
Yeah, it's unfortunate there isn't more activity, although I have often noticed that underachievement and poor results leads to more activity. Fans discuss and debate whether the coach or GM should be replaced; draft pick/lottery threads start in January; hypothetical trades are bandied about, etc. Some of the longest, most active game threads are ones where we lose in crunch time to an inferior team. No one is going to say much if we beat Charlotte at home in a blowout.Carlos Danger wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 8:25 amLip needs to do that and you should revive the 2+1. it's like sports talk radio. Negativity drives the shows, not how good a team is.Q-is-here wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 8:52 amYeah, it's unfortunate there isn't more activity, although I have often noticed that underachievement and poor results leads to more activity. In addition, it's sort of a closed forum, meaning not many new Wolves fans would be able to even find it! It only exists because the original ESPN forum closed and then Enjin went away. Thank God for Tim!
The silver lining to all of this is the lack of trolls and agitators. It's also unique in that there is zero content moderation, yet there is no need for it. Everyone sticks with basketball for the most part and keeps it respectful. So there is some upside to this being a smaller forum.
My posts should be enough for you Q. If I remember I’m the #1 most liked to comment ratio on the boardQ-is-here wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 8:52 amYeah, it's unfortunate there isn't more activity, although I have often noticed that underachievement and poor results leads to more activity. Ha! And again, those GDT's are a healthy outlet to vent when really frustrated with either the team, the coach, or the refs. It beats fuming and cursing to yourself. But there just hasn't been as much to vent about as in years' past, thus that drives down activity to a degree.Jester1534 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 4:26 pmMy posts should be enough for you Q. On serious note there’s guy I miss that don’t post that much anymore but I still truly enjoy being on here during a GDT it’s like watching it with all my buddies who couldn’t be in the same room as me cause we live all over.
