Luka Garza gets a NBA contract

The Minnesota Timberwolves are converting two-way C Luka Garza to a standard NBA contract, placing him on playoff roster, agents Mike Kneisley and Odell Witherspoon III of Klutch Sports tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Garza had 16 points in 9 minutes in win over Toronto on Wednesday.

Love it.
Well deserved for Luka. Hopefully he is signed over next couple of seasons on the cheap. He's earnt it and it shouldn't cost us any more than league min.

It's really the only move that makes sense at this point. Certainly might be useful to have another big for the playoffs. Although, I'm sure a lot of us were expecting something sexier from the buyout market. Regardless, these are the cards we have now, so it's the right play.
