As usual, I generally agree with your grades, Kek. But KAT’s defense and rebounding, including some really big ones, earns him a B in my book. I’d give Ant a B+. I’m giving NAW a B+ for his defense and big plays down the stretch. I think a C+ is too high for Monte Morris. I’d give him a C-.

I'd give KAT a C-. Based on him being an All Star and supermax player. We should see more positive production from him. Now if you base him on being just a a guy he was fine. I think his second half was good though. First half not so much.

McDaniels played his best game as a pro. If he does this consistently, hell even 80% of this game, the Wolves will be really tough to beat. Those offensive rebounds were a thing of beauty, hustle and want to" that we do not normally see from him. Was great to watch!

Yeah, I was going to make the same points about KAT and NAW...both made some valuable contributions. I was yelling at Finchie when he left KAT in the game after he committed his second foul late in the first quarter, and sure enough, KAT committed his third 30 seconds later and had to miss the rest of the first half. There was no question our rebounding and toughness suffered in the second quarter with KAT on the bench. He was instrumental in our strong third quarter which turned the game around.
But while I'll agree with your upgrade for KAT to a B, he had his maddening moments too. There is no excuse for his getting his 3rd foul in the first quarter, and he had some inexcusably sloppy passing turnovers trying to force things. But still, we are going to win this series with our size and physicality, and KAT helped with both last night.

Thanks for posting your grades Kek!
- I agree with WolvesFan that if we're grading based on expectations and role (which I think you do), then KAT is a C at best. It seems like we have lowered our bar on him from being a major protagonist of positivity to "just don't screw things up when you are out there!". That's quite a low bar for a max player! In his case, he did a little of both, which is why I land him in the middle of the grading curve like you did. He definitely contributed to the 3rd quarter run, but a combined 8 fouls and turnovers in 24 minutes is incredibly careless.
- I'd lower Monte Morris to a D. If he is going to replace JMac as the primary backup PG, he needs to make more positive plays. 2 points on 1-4 shooting, 3 fouls, and a -14 is not going to cut it when there are other options available.
- I'd lower Ant to a B, again using the logic that a lot is expected of him. I think he did a nice job not forcing too much and getting off the ball, but the 3-12 shooting and a combined 7 TOs and Fouls were problematic to me.
- For all the concern about how the Wolves get the short end of the officiating stick, we won the FTA battle 30 to 19. That was pretty much the difference in the game.

Obviously, Towns can really rack up those offensive fouls + TO stats because an offensive foul counts as both.
He had two more offensive fouls yesterday.

KAT's first half was so bad it is hard to see him rising above a C-. When you had in those two careless passing turnovers in the 4th I'd actually rate him a D+. I thought we needed him to shine in this series, and we still may, but like someone said he's playing just like a guy, not like a multi-time all star.
