The Randle Pivot - Wolves at Warriors GDT

Winning two straight games against the same team on their home court is usually pretty tough. Dilly is still out, but we catch a break with Wiggins out as well, as he usually draws the ANT assignment.

I called this the Randle Pivot, because he is growing on me as a viable fit for the Wolves. We'll see if he continues to buy in on what the Wolves are doing on both ends of the court. And as I mentioned in another thread, I can see a financial path to keeping on an extension as well.

Randle has a number of attributes that I prefer over KAT. He's tough, but doesn't have the "stray voltage" KAT carried. And I really appreciate his playmaking awareness -- it's part of the reason we are seeing more transition opportunities. We give up rim protection and some rebounding, but Randle is a more versatile defender than KAT.

Anyway, a win tonight has got to same something about how Randle is contributing to a winning culture! (yeah, I just jinxed it)

Way to keep it rollin' Timmy!

We'll see about Randle...I have a more pessimistic take and it's interesting how Finch has been gradually dialing back his and Jaden's minutes in favor of their "backups" on the bench. But I like the fact he appears to have lifted his defensive game up from a D grade to at least a C now.

I've been traveling and will need to watch this on somewhat of a delay...might be able to jump onto this thread later in the game, we'll see.

Yeah, I know I am getting ahead of myself on the Randle front, but it's part of my opTIMistic side.

The whole minutes thing is interesting because we apparently have 8 players worthy of starting. It'll be something to keep monitoring as the season continues to unfold.

The "stray voltage" comment is a great description. KAT would try the Dirk one foot fade and kick someone in the junk. Randle draws a foul or makes a 12 ft fade in the lane.

Gotta love the swarming defense.
Gotta love the pass from a good spot to a better shot on offense.

Minott!
Question, is Minott the most talented of the bench players that have been pined over by this board? I am thinking Shabazz, Brewer, Bjelica, Budinger, etc etc.

We are getting lazy piece of shit Randle tonight. 4 guys busting their ass defensively while Randle out for a Sunday stroll and it’s killing us
