While the Wolves are not favored tonight, it still feels like we have cleared the Gauntlet. Not unscathed, but in better shape than many thought we might be, especially given the injuries. I remember FNG wondered if we might slip completely out of the play-in during the Gauntlet!
There are 5 West teams vying for the top 5 seeds. Then there are the Wolves along with a blob of 4 other teams jockeying for the coveted 6th seed and play-in positioning. That doesn't even include the Suns sniffing at the play-in, but tankathon says they have the toughest remaining schedule of any team in the NBA -- looks like no playoffs for KD! While I have not posted the KOM standings, both the Warriors and Wolves have anti-klunker opportunities tonight. The Lakers represent the 4th toughest game remaining for the Wolves.
Anyway, enough of that. Gobert and Randle are both listed as OUT for tonight. But amazingly, DDV is listed as questionable. NAZ and Jaden better stay out of foul trouble, otherwise, the Wolves could be playing super-small ball. Maybe Jesse gets some minutes tonight?!?
