Where's Waldo? - Spurs at Wolves GDT

I mean Rudy, not Waldo. It sure would be nice if he could start playing again. Especially since the team could use tonight as a "re-integrate-Rudy" game before heading off to Denver!

Hopefully ANT is over whatever had him down in Miami. The Wolves have a chance to match their largest winning streak of the season at 5. And it would mark the first time the Wolves will be 8 games over .500 this season. Just keep on winning!

Assuming Rudy is back, we have the following questions:
  • Does Mike still start?
  • Does NAZ come off the bench?
  • What kind of minutes do the kids get?

If I had to guess on your three questions, Tim:

1) Yes...he may have been our best player last game and Donte was productive off the bench, so I see a benching unlikely.

2) Yes, for the same reasons. Tough to bench a guy who has flirted with 2 straight triple doubles.

3) The same answer I gave last game when we thought Rudy might play. I think Finchie goes with his core 8 plus 15 minutes of TJ/Clark. Rob only gets garbage minutes.

I'd like to see Rudy play about 15 minutes tonight to shake the rust off to get ready for Denver, but limit the risk of recurring the spasms. And yeah, let's get a bounceback game from Ant...I hear the nightlife in San Antonio falls far short of South Beach, so there's that!

I will be there tonight. I’m friends with a higher up in the graphics department and we go to one game a year together with 4 friends since I was born. We picked this game to watch Wemby but I guess I’ll settle for Fox instead

LOL - if ANT is checking out the nightlife in San Antonio, he might be late for the game!!! :D

I almost take more from the fact that the Wolves haven't lost to a non playoff team in almost 4 months with Ju playing. You wonder if the 2-point losses to Sac-Town and Washington with Ju out would have had a different outcome if he were in there. We have a whole lot of games left against non playoff teams, and Ju's experience and toughness may be the key to not letting down in any of them...we can't afford any losses to the Utahs, Brooklyns, Pelicans, and 76ers of the Association if we want to have any chance of moving past the Warriors and Rockets.

Waldo is a game time decision. I take that as an indicator that Waldo will be found!

FNG nailed it. Rudy starts, NAZ to the bench, and Uncle Mike starts again.

Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while 🤣.

I think it’s the right choice though for tonight. Could change though in subsequent games…I don’t think Finchie is going to be as locked in on the same starting five.

Rudy was out Friday with illness/back. I suspect it might have been more the illness though, which gave Rudy a chance to rest the back a few more days.
