Houston @ Golden State Game Thread

Figured I'd put something out there since we play the winner of this series. Love the fact we can sit back and relax with a cold beverage as these two fight it out.

Golden State, for all their experience, seems like a less scary opponent to me for some reason. Houston has size and defenders like Brooks and Amen that could actually present problems for Ant and Randle.

That being said, I wouldn't mind seeing Houston win tonight!

Draymond Green with a cheap shot already.

The one thing about Houston is that they do seem like less of a challenge to defend. Very raw offensively at times.

Literally the only thing that scares me about Butler is his ability to draw fouls. Not worried about him driving by people or hitting outside shots. He's just crafty as hell and baits guys.

Both teams are very good defensively. There is no Luka Doncic-type defender to target.

Butler gets a ridiculously generous whistle.

Interesting. Golden State blitzes both Jalen Green and Fred VanVleet sometimes, neither of which I consider as "blitz-worthy" offensive players. But I think Houston's lack of shooters and play makers allows for Golden State to play a bit more aggressive on Houston's offensive creators knowing that they don't have corner 3 shooters and secondary creators that can punish you 4 on 3.

Yeah, Houston is big, athletic, and physical. I mean, can you imagine Naz Reid trying to keep Adams off the offensive boards!? He'd be completely helpless.
