I'm really sort of meh on this hire. Not excited not upset either. It just feels to me there is something off about Molly the way he just sorta hung around the organization for all these years and finally took a staff position last year. Idk I woulda be pumped about Doug M. But hopefully Molly is a good hire.

I wanted Dougie M. too...he's such a fiery guy, and he has worked with so many of the young prospects that we hope are going to pan out over the next few years. But I'm okay with the Molitor choice too. He apparently has worked a lot with many of the Twins' studs too, and I read a lot of favorable comments over the weekend from a few of them (hopefully sincere, and not just sucking up to the new boss :) ). Molitor is a student of the game, and was responsible for convincing Gardy to shift a little on defense last year. I heard Sid say over the weekend that he thinks Molly will bring in Rockin' Robin Yount as a bench coach. I hope so...I always liked Yount.

My Brother and I always liked the Brewers growing up. I don't know why but we did so yeah I always liked Yount as well as a bunch of other Brewers. Chris Bosio's baseball cards are always amusing. April 12 of next year is Rob Dear Bobblehead day. My friend who is a Brewers fan and Rob Dear is one of his favorite players ever first joked tickets were going way up for that game then joked they probably dropped in price. lol If I had a desire to display sports stuff I would have already bought a Gardy gnome on ebay and gotten a Rob Dear bobble head when they became available. I don't need another excuse to acquire stuff though. :p
