Whew..... glad the Wolves didn't get swept up in that price!
I do think KD is a great fit for the Rockets unfortunately

I will be rooting for him to fail miserably for the rest of his career

I'd have to think Phenix is looking to move one of those pieces in their backcourt, just absurdly redundant and expensive

Whew
I sorta think this might be a reasonable trade for both teams.

So they didn't get Jabari. Suns have no front court depth. They will probably still be interested in Ju and Ru and will look at bigs for pick 10

What would they even have to offer for Randle? (Who I wouldn't mind moving)

They have like 57 wings so they could move one of them in a Randle deal.

How you feel the Suns did probably depends a lot on how you view Jalen Green or what they can get with #10 in this draft.
What the Suns did in this deal was they got younger but Green (assuming they keep him) is a guy that's already been around so it's not like he is a rookie. Then they have #10 to draft someone I assume either a PG or some sort of big.
Meanwhile they have a bunch of wing vets that they can trade to round out their roster. Brooks, Martin, O'Neal, Allen. Teams likely know they are gonna want to deal someone so idk if they will get value for whoever they decide to deal but still.
Ultimately I don't think the Suns got a crazy good deal for Durant but if Green ends up being a winning enough player and they do well without whatever they do with #10 it could end up being a pretty good outcome for them.
typed is small print:
The Wolves likely could have bested or matched that offer in one way shape or form without too much trouble unless the Suns are infatuated with Green...which hasn't sound like was the case.
