Indy at Wolves GDT

Tim let us down in Los Angeles and then skipped town, so I'll get this one started. The Wolves return home for a back to back against two very good teams in the Pacers and Nuggets. But the Pacers are really banged up and will be missing Haliburton and McConnell and maybe Mathurin and Nembhard, and also played last night. So the line has been set at a very high 12 1/2. This one sounds like an easy win, but I still have PTSD from a similarly beat up Pacers team beating us at home last season, so I'm going to stay away from this one.

It would be nice though to blow them out and rest our guys for tomorrow's Nuggets game. Conley and Naz have been terrible in our first two games...we need them to show up.

That actually sounds like too many points, however we were pretty embarrassed at LA and our home crowd should be rocking. I think it'll be harder for us to lay an egg and we come out firing on all cylinders, so line probably is about right.

Chance we blow them out is high due to home opener and last game embarrassment (revenge, hustle, focus, pride on the line), but our tendency is to downplay to injured squads too. Which wins out, IDK. I'll just say we win by 12.

Yeah, too often we played down to our competition last season (including normally good teams without key guys like tonight). I think that will be hard to do given the fact we're coming off a loss and it's the home opener, but still I worry....let's make this quick and decisive!
