Lakers at Wolves GDT

Okay, I am back in the saddle. Lakers sans Luka and Wolves sans ANT. The betting line has the Wolves by 7.5! I guess they know the home-ref-bias for the Lakers doesn't travel very well... ;)

I always thought a 3-2 start in October was a reasonable goal given the schedule. The Wolves need a win to meet that goal. Finch has been harping on the defense, and rightfully so. It sure would be nice to finally hold a team to under 100 points!

Most of us have noticed that Shannon hasn't been as impactful as we thought he might be. Here is his comment after shootaround (posted by Chris Hine):

Terrence Shannon Jr. at shootaround today: "They've been on me a lot, I've been being too passive a lot the beginning of the season. I got to be more aggressive, look for my shot first, then pass. Got to get back to attacking in transition."

And another comment from Randle:

"Coach made it pretty clear there's more that we need to do, so it's really on us. Taking pride in stopping guys, sometimes it's as simple as that."

I think the Wolves will have a pretty strong game tonight!

Need to get this win, as it's quite fortunate that L.A. is without Luka on a night we're without Ant. Gotta win this in order to keep our head above water while waiting for Ant to recover.

Hopefully with Ant's redistributed usage and playing time, other people emerge and fill the space left by him (besides Randle, whose been excellent).

Same starting 5: Mike, DDV, Jaden, Randle and Rudy.

Clark is out again, as is ANT.

With Clark and Ant out, I suspect Dilly will see action again.

Yeah, missing Luka is more significant than missing Ant. And the Lakers are missing someone else too, but I don't think he's very good ;) . Put the clamps on Reeves and we should win this one pretty easy.

LOL

They are also missing Vincent and Smart. Not insignificant…

I'd like to see a win that is balanced... we looked to Randle and McDaniels last game. Would really like to see Shannon/Donte/Reid get a few more plays run for them
