Kick them while they're down - Clippers at Wolves GDT

The Clippers got a nice bump after sending Chris Paul packing, handily beating the Hawks. But it was short-lived with a loss last night at Memphis. There's talk surrounding the Clippers about trying to trade Harden and Leonard in order to make next year their big FA acquisition year, which is currently on track for 2027. Watching them a bit last night, there ain't much joy on that team!
For the Wolves, they are coming off back-to-back wins down in New Orleans, but can't be feeling too good about how close those games were. Tonight would be a good night to beat up on the Clippers -- I want to see Joan start getting some minutes at the end of the game!

There's no shame in losing at Memphis. The Griz have been playing very well since Loser Ja got hurt...they've won 6 of their last 8...and the Clips were tied with them with 3 minutes remaining. I think the Wolves are getting a little too much respect here as 10 1/2 point favorites. The Clippers have two 26-point scorers, a 16/12 center, an elite defender in Kris Dunn, and Wolves killer Nic Batum. We should win tonight, but I think it may be a close one.

The lowly Nets are annihilating the Pelicans after the Wolves couldn’t even muster a double digit victory in two attempts.
Please don’t read the tea leaves…

Yeah, kind of what I was afraid of. The Clips don't guard anyone, but we're not taking advantage of that. Ant with 2 TOs already.

And we are not getting good shots. I’m surprised Mike passed up an open shot or two. We need more from him.

Terrible start. The Wolves are 11-0 when Clark plays at least 14 minutes, and he's in now...let's see if things change.

The biggest change I've seen in Mike is his release is much slower than it used to be...kind of the opposite of Donte. He really only shoots now if he's wide open.

I'm old enough to remember when TJ was good.

Shannon is a bad defender.
