It's a Triple Header - Kings at Wolves GDT

The Joan and Rocco show at noon. The Wolves at 6. And the JJ McCarthy show at 7:20. Enjoy your day!

Is Julius working his way into an "untouchable" status? He has been so good this year. And I don't really see how we can replace what he does for the team. He is having a career year statistically in so many ways, while still playing 2nd fiddle to ANT.

Conley is out. ANT and Bones are Questionable. Sabonis, Eubanks and Schroder are out, with Ellis listed as Questionable.

I sure hope we start stacking some good defensive games together, because we really have not been very good on that end. The Golden State game was fools gold -- they missed a TON of open 3s. The win felt good, but could have easily been a loss and the defensive red flags would have been flying all over the place! I'm not sure what the answer is. I don't see a reason to tweak the starting lineup. The bench just has to be better.

On the bright side, Shannon looked a lot more like the Shannon we expected to start the season. Hopefully he stacks some more of those good games together. Unfortunately, I thought he was still favoring that foot in the Warriors' game. Something to keep an eye on...

The Julius question is a good one cause his contributions to the team should not be over looked, but he also presents roster balance issues.

Ultimately I think it is imperative that a different point of attack defender is brought in and Jaden is moved to defend off ball more- Holmgren is the perfect blueprint for how Jaden should be used on defense. I'm not sure how this done is done with Julius present unless you get rid of Rudy which is likely the lesser option.

All that said you still need to do what I've described without making the team worse by jettisoning Randle's offensive production, which so far has been sterling.

Quite a puzzle imo

Ever since Norm Green stole the North Stars, I just have not been able to embrace the NHL again. I wish I did...

I stopped watching hockey for almost 30 years after the North Stars left.

Tristen is hitting his mid-range shots today, so that helps. Between Joan, Freeman and Rocco, Rocco is the furthest ahead in terms of ability to contribute this year. But it would only be garbage time, or desperation...

Joan hasn't figured out how to effectively use his size or his athleticism. Rocco can't help but use his tremendous size to his advantage, plus he can shoot.

It's interesting how when Joan is in they switch everything and when Rocco is in it's pure drop coverage. You usually don't see coverage changes like that in the G-League, but it's a good fit for each player.

If Oladipo keeps playing like this may be he's the guy we should sign!

So the 17th pick in the draft and our 2nd rounder two-way guy are just sitting on the bench here through the first half of the 2nd quarter. WTF? At least one of them should be out there, sheesh!
