Gotta win this one- Blazers/Wolves GDT

Phenom and Tim are both on double secret probation for some very poor recent losses, so I guess I have to right the ship by getting this thread going. The good news is the Blazers will be missing Avdija and Sharpe, and the Wolves never lose to a team missing two starte...um, check that. We haven't lost to a team missing 2 starters in almost two days. Naz is still questionable, but I'm guessing he plays and and we get Rudy back, so we don't have to watch Joan flailing around out there. I'm also hoping Shannon shook some of the rust off in his unimpressive return from the injured list Sunday and is ready to contribute. Two tough road games against the Clips and Nuggets follow, so a loss tonight could put us in a tailspin at a very unfortunate time of the season. Oddsmakers have us favored by 6 1/2...let's hope they're right.

Yes, the Phenom and Tim are banished to the cold palace until we can get a win. What is the over/under for the number of games Rudy can go before getting a flagrant? I'm going to say the number is 8.5 games. This is another we should win type of game, but with this team who knows? What I do know is the board's mood is going to swing dramatically depending on how we play. If we don't play well, fire Finch, trade Jaden, Randle is gone, and the Ayo trade was a mistake. If we win and look good, Finch is taking us to a 3rd WCF, Jaden is our #2 behind Ant, we need Randle for his toughness in the playoffs and he has a great contract, and Ayo is the piece we needed to get over the top. I'll have to watch with the sound off tonight because the Wolves telecast is blacked out here. Wait, it's on Peacock! I should get the national broadcast. Looking forward to it.

I will stay on the fire Finch bandwagon until he delivers us to the Finals, which i truly think he will never get to. Wish he would run a better offense that doesn't depend on hero ball, learns how to design a real OoB play, learn to develop young players, but I just don't see him doing any of those things.

Here is an interesting take on the Wolves problems from my favorite NBA podcaster. It's a 4.5 minute segment from one of his bigger podcasts. He highlights the Wolves problems guarding quick guards, especially Jaden. He makes some really good points that Finchy ought to pay attention to...

They mentioned during the last game that the Wolves are ranked #11 in out-of-bounds plays after timeouts.
Not great. Not terrible.
Maybe that's a decent way to grade Finch's coaching?
