The winning streak continues- Raptors/Wolves GDT

You guys didn't think I would skip teeing up the GDT after 4 wins in a row in that role, did you? Yep, the good news is our squad has won 4 in a row and 7 of this last 8. I would argue though that only the Denver win felt really good.

But we should be able to handle on our home court an East team that has lost 3 out of 4, right? Not so fast, because Toronto is a weird team. They're only a .500 team at home, but they are 19-10 on the road. Put another way, their record on the road is very similar to our record at home. Their three losses in the past four games have been to very good teams at home...meanwhile they have won 7 of their last 8 on the road, including a win at OkC. So this one is far from a layup for us tonight, and the oddsmakers have us favored by only 5 1/2. We trailed them by 18 at one point in our last game against them, and only some 4th quarter heroics by Ant gave us a 2-point win. We'll need a good effort tonight, I think.

Ingram is questionable with a non-shooting hand thumb sprain, so I'll guess he plays. Joe Ingles is the only player on the list for the Wolves, but we have SloMo to pass the ball in at clutch time if needed. Good to see Ant not on the injury list.

I see ANT is back on the injury list for his foot again. And Clark is on there, too, with an illness. Both as Questionable.

There are a lot of good vibes about the team now. A loss tonight would put a dent in those vibes. And I see you jinxed the whole with your thread title! ;)

We've won 7 out of 8 which has to be one of our better stretches of the season, so we're kind of due to drop one of these games. Would like to see more from our PFs. As frustrating as Julius can be, Naz hasn't been all that great lately either.

Edit: Just saw that Ant is AVAILABLE.

Can the Wolves just voluntarily start the game being down 10-0? Let's just get the double digit deficit out of the way immediately.

Two MF fouls on Jaden and neither was a foul.

Great awareness by Donte to almost get a steal and rotate quickly to cut off the second pass and then get the steal.

Raptors came out like they are pissed at losing in Toronto. And they should be -Wolves really had no business winning that game.

Nice to see the Wolves try to match the Raptors defensive intensity.

Jim Pete nailed it, Julius doesn't need to score as much as he thinks he does. I'd take it a step further, he can't score as much as he thinks he can.

Does Finch never run anything through Reid or Randle at the elbow!? With a team that presses up so much I'm just surprised by how far out these guys are initiating our offense. Get an entry pass in there and run some action instead of this 4 or 5 out dribble drive game starting from 35 feet out.
